Hotel

The conference will be held at the San Jose Marriott.

We have two room blocks: one in the conference hotel itself, the San Jose Marriott, and one in the Hyatt Place San Jose.

Hyatt Place San Jose/Downtown

  • The Hyatt Place San Jose/Downtown is a 5 minute walk (0.2 miles) from the venue.
  • Tuesday night, Oct 20th, is fully booked in this block. Rooms remain for check-in Saturday, Oct 17th through check-out Tuesday, Oct 20th, and for check-in Wednesday, Oct 21st through check-out Thursday, Oct 22nd.

San Jose Marriott

  • 301 South Market Street, San Jose, CA 95113 (Google Maps)
  • The San Jose Marriott is where the conference will take place.
  • Check in starts from Sunday, Oct 18th and check out is Wednesday, Oct 21st.
    • If you plan on leaving Wednesday, we would encourage you to use this hotel block.

Room Reservations

We would greatly appreciate you staying in one of the conference room blocks. Maintaining reasonable conference registration rates requires that we fill the hotel room reservation blocks.

Please plan to arrive on Sunday, October 18, 2026. The conference starts early Monday morning, and we are planning an informal networking event on Sunday evening.

Both room blocks cover Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights (October 18-20), with checkout on Wednesday, October 21. The Hyatt block also covers Saturday, October 17 for attendees arriving early and Wednesday, October 21 for attendees staying late.

Availability in both blocks is now limited. Tuesday night, October 20, is fully booked at the Hyatt, so attendees who need that night should book the Marriott block. About 8 rooms remain in the Marriott block, which closes on September 21.

Hyatt
  • Hyatt Attendee reservation link: $259/night + taxes
  • Government rate: the government rate room block is FULL. You may still be able to book a government rate room at the Hyatt Place directly through the hotel’s website by selecting the “Government/Military Business” option under “Special Rates”. At check-in, guests will be required to provide eligible ID.
  • Availability: Tuesday night, October 20, is fully booked. Rooms remain for check-in Saturday, October 17 through check-out Tuesday, October 20, and for check-in Wednesday, October 21 through check-out Thursday, October 22.
  • Deadline to reserve: September 25th or until the block is full
Marriott
  • Marriott Attendee reservation link: $319/night + taxes
  • Government rate: unfortunately, there are no government rate rooms in this block.
  • Availability: this block is booking up fast, with about 8 rooms remaining.
  • Deadline to reserve: September 21st or until the block is full

If you plan to arrive early or stay late, we encourage you to make your room reservation early. Blocked rooms for those dates are limited, and weekends and overlapping conferences in the area may limit non-block availability.

Food

The conference registration fee includes lunch as well as coffee breaks on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Additional evening reception events with some food and drinks will also be held and included in the registration fee.

Getting to San Jose

  • The San Jose International Airport (SJC) is about 4 miles (about 15 minutes by car, depending on traffic) from downtown San Jose.
  • The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is about 36 miles (45-75+ minutes by car, depending on traffic) from downtown San Jose.
  • The Oakland International Airport (OAK) is about 36 miles (45-75+ minutes by car, depending on traffic) from San Jose and may offer less expensive flights from some parts of the country.

Transportation around the Bay

  • Taxi/Rideshare: Taxis and rideshares will be the most convenient option from any airport to the hotel, especially if you’re carrying luggage or arriving during off-peak hours. If you’re being reimbursed by your company, this is usually the simplest and most efficient choice.

  • Public transit: If you are looking to explore more of the bay (such as San Francisco or Oakland), there are several options, including VTA, BART, MUNI, Caltrain, and Amtrak
