New York City Regional Group

Overview

The New York City Regional Group connects US-RSE members in New York City and promotes Research Software Engineering in the five boroughs.

Membership

The New York City Regional Group is a US-RSE Regional Group intended to bring together research software engineers in the five boroughs. Members from the surrounding New York tristate area are welcome.

Activities

We organize informal meetings with a focus on local in-person events within the city.

Past events

• 2025-10-08 – We met briefly during USRSE’25 after the idea for a NYC Regional Group was born
• 2026-05-11 – First in-the-city meeting at Everything’s Jake NYC Bar & Lounge in Manhattan
